12 Year Old Colby Sheppard from Madisonville Texas has been performing Western Swing Music since the age of 3. Colby sings, plays fiddle and guitar with many Western Swing bands around the State of Texas.

Colby has opened up for or performed with Ray Price, Ray Benson and Asleep At The Wheel, Leon Rauche and The Texas Playboys and Little Jimmy Dickens to name a few. He is also a featured artist on “The Shotgun Red Variety Show” Season 1 and Season 2 on RFD TV. He is a member of Dave Alexander’s Big Texas Swing All Star Band, The 2012 and 2013 State of  Texas Champion of  4H Has Talent, 2012 Academy Of  Western Artists “Young Artist of The Year and 2013 Cowtown of  Western Society “Rising Star of The Year” winner.

He has also performed The National Anthem on his fiddle for Texas A&M Baseball, Volleyball and Softball, Sam Houston State Baseball and Brazos Valley Bombers Baseball.

Colby’s musical talents have opened up some new ventures for him in acting. He plays the part of the 10 year old Bob Wills in Asleep At The Wheels musical “A Ride With Bob” that tours several States. This past summer Colby played a part in a TV pilot called “Professor Isles Laboratory” that is in post-production.   He will also be in a feature film called “Cottonwood” by Stacy Dean Campbell that will be filming in 2014. Right now Colby is working with The Glen Campbell Family on a project about Glen in his younger years.

Colby is an avid outdoorsman that enjoys working cows with his horse Ruby, showing cattle, fishing, hunting, football and playing baseball.

He is a straight A 6th grade student at Madisonville Junior High.

    Hi Coby
    I saw you at Zak’s Topfer Theater in “A Ride With Bob.” It was a great show and you are awesome! I have been enjoying your CD and amazed at how much talent you have. Thanks for gettting out there and bringing such wonderful music to our lives. Make sure to keep all of us posted on your shows, because we want to go :-)
